What is THE CELL™ and how does it work?

Simply put, The Cell generates a gas called HHO, which is a mixture of Hydrogen and Oxygen. The HHO Gas is then pulled into your engine and mixed along with the air going to the air filter. As the fuel is ignited during the combustion process the HHO Gas is used as an accelerant, making the combustion more complete and efficient. This combination causes the fuel to burn faster and cleaner. The result is improved overall mileage and significantly cleaner emissions.

Why THE CELL™?

The reasons are many. We are facing a 3 fold crisis of the environment, the economy and our national security. There are many technologies which promise solutions. While technologies such as biofuels, biogas, solar, wind, electric cars, air cars and wave power are promising, there are many barriers to their adoption. Realistically, high cost, reliance on rare and precious metals, and/or low energy density prevent these solutions from becoming widespread.

Peak oil also has a side which is not often discussed, which is that even after the peak, we have far more oil left to burn than our atmosphere can absorb. We need a solution which is low cost and which can be applied quickly to the massive amounts of vehicles on the road today.

The Cell is exactly this solution.

We are in a triage situation. We must reduce emissions and consumption both substantially and immediately. The parallel benefits to our economy and national security are obvious. We can reduce our costs and dependence on foreign oil considerably. We can do this today, not the distant future, when it would be far too late.

Where is THE CELL™ Installed?

On trucks, the cell and all of its components are typically frame mounted allowing easy access. For marine and heavy equipment uses it will be neccesary to have our field engineers determine the best location for your installation.

Can I install THE CELL™ myself?

If this is your first installation, we will install it, it will be neccesary for you to bring your vehicle to our location in Long Island, NY or Sanford, FL. If you are a fleet owner with in house mechanical staff, we can train and certify your mechanics for installations. For fleet owners, marine and heavy equipment customers, We can train and certify your mechanics here in NY or FL or we can dispatch a trainer/mechanic to your location.

Are there changes made to the engine?

No, the diesel engine itself is virtually unchanged, except for the addition of HHO gas (hydrogen+oxygen) into the injection system and the ECU, fitted externally to the engine. THE CELL™ is installed and calibrated automatically to maintain in-cylinder temperatures and pressures that are within those of pure diesel operations, so the converted engine operates within the designed limits of the original engine.

What happens if THE CELL™ Stops working?

If the Cell becomes non-functional for any reason, you simply return to a diesel only fuel. There is no intervention needed by the operator. The operator will be notified by the in dash indicator.

Do I have to maintain THE CELL™?

You will have to add distilled water occasionally.
